Sofia Elverdin
Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Yale University and a graduate fellow at the Council on Latin American and Iberian Studies. My work focuses on social movements and gender and politics in Latin America. My research has been generously funded by the American Political Science Association Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (APSA DDRIG), the Tinker Foundation, and the Yale MacMillan Center.
I hold an M.A. and a B.A. in Political Science from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) in Argentina. Prior to Yale, I was a fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and taught at UTDT and Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA).
