Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Politics at Washington and Lee University, where I am affiliated with the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program. I hold a PhD in Political Science from Yale University.
My research focuses on social movements and gender and politics in Latin America. My dissertation received the Best Dissertation Award (co-winner) from the American Political Science Association's Women, Gender, and Politics Section in 2026. My work is published or accepted for publication in The Journal of Politics and PS: Political Science & Politics.
My research has been generously funded by the APSA Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (DDRIG), the Tinker Foundation, and the Yale MacMillan Center.
I hold an MA and a BA in Political Science from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) in Argentina. Prior to Yale, I was a fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and taught at UTDT and Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA).
